[SMM Data] August LiPF6 Import and Export Data

SMM September 20: According to Chinese customs data, in August 2024, China's cumulative export volume of LiPF6 was 1,516.29 mt, up about 55.2% MoM. Among them, China's cumulative import volume of LiPF6 was 6 mt.

In terms of exports, in August 2024, China's export volume of LiPF6 was 1,516.29 mt, up about 55.2% MoM from July, up about 15.2% YoY.

Overall, the demand for foreign lithium battery products has increased, leading to a certain increase in the procurement of raw materials. The YoY increase also reflects the enhanced competitiveness of China's LiPF6 in the international market, with a slight increase in the growth rate of overseas demand for lithium batteries.
